More than six decades machining industrial components

Founded in 1962, J. F. Peraita machines and manufactures made-to-order industrial mechanical components.

Who we are

The company

Founded in 1962, J. F. Peraita Del Hoyo & Cia. Ltda. machines and manufactures made-to-order industrial mechanical components. Over more than six decades it has built particularly relevant experience in gears, bronze worm wheels and worm shafts, gear tooth milling and the reconditioning and upgrading of gearboxes.

All work is carried out from a technical drawing or from a physical sample. This allows us to serve both machine and equipment manufacturers, who need components to their own design, and industrial maintenance teams that have to replace parts no longer available on the market — including items from imported, old or discontinued machines.

The company has been a member of CIESP — the Centre of Industries of the State of São Paulo — since 26 de julho de 1967, and keeps its operation in the Brás district of São Paulo.

How we work

Technical commitments

In business since 1962

More than six decades solving manufacturing and reconditioning demands for Brazilian industry, including steelmaking, metalworking, packaging and pulp and paper.

Genuinely custom manufacturing

We do not work from a fixed catalogue: every part is defined from the drawing, the sample and the customer's application, with direct technical support.

Production from drawing or sample

When no drawing exists, we reproduce the component from the physical part — including discontinued items from imported or vintage machines.

Special worm wheel and worm shaft sets

Accumulated experience in multi-start sets, including sets already produced with up to 13 starts, and re-cutting of bronze worm wheel teeth.

Gear tooth milling and precision machining

Tooth milling of gears and worm wheels, machining of special parts and reconditioning of components for industrial maintenance.

Breakdown and machine-stoppage support

Much of our demand arrives as urgent maintenance. We assess the part, respond quickly to the quotation request and release the job for collection as soon as it is finished.

Parts received for industrial processing

We receive the customer's part under Brazilian 'remessa para industrialização' terms and return it with the corresponding invoice, with collection at our plant in Brás or an agreed delivery.

Approved supplier on corporate purchasing portals

We handle quotation requests through corporate procurement portals (SAP Ariba, SAP SRM and Mercado Eletrônico) of large industrial groups, meeting the deadlines and formats each process requires.

Technical documentation and inspection

We provide supporting documentation when required by the customer — drawing approval, dimensional verification and formal response to inspections and non-conformities.

Project confidentiality

We work with drawings and samples under confidentiality, including non-disclosure agreements with equipment manufacturers.

Long-term relationships

Much of our work comes from commercial relationships maintained over decades with industrial plants, equipment manufacturers and maintenance companies.
