Cylindrical spur gears
Transmit motion between parallel shafts with teeth parallel to the axis. Their simple construction generates no axial thrust. Common in general drives, machine transmissions and sliding gear assemblies.
Cylindrical helical gears
For parallel shafts, inclined teeth provide smoother operation and better load distribution but generate axial thrust. Common in gearboxes and continuous-process drives.
Straight bevel gears
Transmit motion between intersecting shafts, typically at 90°. Used in machine heads, right-angle drives and mechanisms changing motion direction.
Worm gear sets
Combine perpendicular shafts with high reduction ratios in a compact space. A bronze wheel meshes with a steel worm. Used in gearboxes, rotary tables, lifts and wire-drawing equipment.
Chain sprockets and silent-chain sprockets
Transmit motion between spaced shafts through a chain without direct contact between wheels. Widely used in conveyors and industrial machine drives.
Gears and pulleys for timing belts
Maintain shaft synchronisation without slipping and with less noise than chain drives. Common in packaging machinery and equipment requiring repeatable positioning.
Racks, splines and lead screws
Racks convert rotary motion into linear motion in machine feeds and industrial gates. External and internal splines transmit torque while allowing axial movement. Lead screws convert rotation into controlled linear travel.
We manufacture these components from technical drawings or physical samples, including steel cams and transfer gears.
